Working as an Upkid childcare teacher allows you do something you love, but have the flexibility to work where you want, when you want. And all our teachers make a minimum of $15 - $20/hour! You create your schedule, while doing work that matters.
Upkid teachers work at childcare centers near them as backup teachers. You have the ability to work Part-time or Full-time if you choose.
Job Summary:
Upkid teachers are responsible for filling in for multiple child care/daycare/pre-school programs throughout the area. When a child care provider is sick or needs a day off, Upkid will give you the opportunity to step in and make a difference. They will be responsible for creating an environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for the children in their care. She/he should work in cooperation with the program director and other team members to ensure a safe, caring environment.
Schedule:
FLEXIBLE - work as much or as little as you would like. But you can easily fill up your schedule because there is a big need for substitutes in Utah.
Compensation:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience and location (pay depends on the individual child care center you choose to work with)
